BIO: John began experimenting with photography as a teenager and created his own photography company in 2007. While teaching high school English and photojournalism, he discovered that teaching students gave him a greater appreciation for the beauty of photography. Currently, he is also an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology and Foundations at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA.
DONNA PHILLIPS

BIO: Donna began photographing in 2010, capturing local Gainesville concerts with her point-and-shoot Olympus camera. She also enjoys photographing landscapes, wildlife, and concerts for local bands in the North Florida area.

BIO: Shelbie discovered her love for the camera and the people in front of it in 2015. She believes that great photography is a kind of magic and every day is filled with moments that are worth capturing. She also enjoys taking photos of Ivy, her beautiful cat!

BIO: Michael’s interest for photo and video began in Orlando, FL, after working for an open-mic event for a friend who was performing. Over time, this led him to photography many concerts, live events, and other music-related content for local artists. He is a graduate from the University of Central Florida, where he received a degree in Film. He has also recently expanded his work into real estate media.

Q: Is hiring a photographer or videographer worth it?
A: Short answer: Yes!
Long Answer: It’s an investment in your future. At the end of your event, the only thing that will remain are your memories and anything that captured those memories, like photos or videos. And, if you want to unsure those memories look just as beautifully as you remember, always hire a professional.
Q: What about the cost, is a professional too expensive?
A: Although prices may seem high, professionals have other hidden costs that are built into our prices, such as:
Pre and Post photoshoot client meetings
Travel expenses (gas, mileage, etc.)
Editing & processing time
Equipment overhead (cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, equipment repair, etc.)
Staff overhead (assistants, multiple photographers)
Taxes, medical, equipment insurance
Additionally, although you may only hire a professional for a few hours, there are many hours we work “behind the scenes” to ensure the best possible result.
Q: What about photo editing?
A: We "edit" every image that you will see—thus, it’s included in your quoted price! If additional photo editing is requested, we offer various options to suit your needs.
Q: How soon can I expect my images after my event?
A: In most cases, less than a week. We've heard horror stories of people waiting months or a year for their wedding photos!
Q: Do you keep a backup of my footage in case I lose it?
A: We keep back-up copies of all photos and videos in multiple locations, including several physical hard-drive and cloud-based backups. Should you lose your footage, even years later, we'll happily send them to you again.
